Our worship.

Traditional.

Sundays at 8:30 a.m.

Our traditional service is rooted in the flow of worship familiar to many. The organ and piano play well-known hymns, prayer time is personalized through joys and concerns and regular choir anthems fill each service. Our message from the pastor speaks to scripture and daily life with each weekly theme.

Contemporary.

Sundays at 10:30 a.m.

Drums, guitars, keyboard and vocals lead our service with contemporary worship music—both past and current. Even hymns show up in this service but with our own modern style. An energy flows throughout the service moving from songs to prayer and, of course, our weekly message from the pastor.

What to expect.

When people ask about Hilltop, we say it’s similar to a family reunion.

We have people three months old to 93 and every age in between. Every age and every child is embraced by grace here at Hilltop. In fact, that’s our number one word: grace.

Grace means God loves you, and we will do everything in our power here to help you understand that grace—to know you are welcome and sacred, no matter who you are.

We believe that God cares a lot more about where we are headed than the mistakes of the past. Know this no matter who you are: you are welcome!

Spirit. Each of our worship services are designed to do one thing: encounter the living, breathing, healing and loving spirit of God. We want worship to touch your hearts, move you and inspire you. You may enter our worship service bruised and broken, but we pray that you’ll leave changed and inspired to live your life in the arms of our loving God.

Attire. We are a diverse bunch around here and that goes for clothes as well. Some dress up by wearing a suit or a beautiful dress but just as many wear blue jeans and a t-shirt. Wear what makes you feel comfortable and know you won’t be judged. After all, it’s your heart that matters!

Music. What kind of music do we play? Any kind of music that deepens our walk with God. You’ll hear traditional hymns. You’ll hear praise songs. Sometimes, you’ll hear gospel songs or camp songs. If you prefer a more traditional approach to music, join us for the 8:30 a.m. or Wednesday 6:00 p.m. service. If songs on the radio is more your style, our contemporary service at 10 a.m. may be a great fit.
