Share and Care
Caring for the needs of Hilltop members and friends is the ministry of service to which these ladies are called. The name of their group, “Share and Care,” is an apt description of their mission. They share their time and resources to care for anyone who needs help or just a friendly visit. Perhaps someone who doesn’t drive needs transportation to a medical appointment or the grocery store. Visits to shut ins or nursing home residents brighten otherwise long lonely days. They deliver meals, provide gift cards or find some way to care for friends and neighbors. Members of the group send birthday greetings to several older folks in the Hilltop community. The fellowship of working together to care for others has created a strong bond between these women. Any who desires to be a part of this caring group is welcome.
Share and Care meets in Fellowship Hall the second Saturday at 9 a.m. September through May. Many of the husbands come along to enjoy breakfast with their wives and then move to a separate area for their own time of fellowship and deepening friendships.
