Small groups.

Small groups—or Life Groups—are designed to really get to know each other on a family level through laughter, support, friendship and fun. The goal is to help people grow spiritually and build faith. Small group involvement can be as in depth as you are comfortable with—from a few weeks to a few years—and everyone is welcome.

Let’s Do Dinner.

Every month on the third Thursday at 6:00 p.m., a group of adults gather at various restaurants around Sioux Falls for an evening of good food and fellowship. Reservations are made and a sign-up sheet posted for those who wish to participate. Everyone is welcome. Groups range from 15 to 30 or more. Sioux Falls has enough dining options that everyone will have the opportunity to enjoy their favorite cuisine. 

United Women in Faith (UMF).

The purpose of UMF is to develop a creative, supportive fellowship and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. All women are welcome to become involved. UMF meets five times during the year—the 3rd Monday of February, April, June, September and November. Summer gatherings as announced.

Share and Care.

Caring for the needs of Hilltop members and friends is the ministry of service to which these ladies are called. They share their time and resources to care for anyone who needs help such as providing a ride to a medical appointment or grocery store, delivering meals, providing gift cards and sending birthday greetings. These are some of the ways these ladies work together to care for others. They meet for breakfast in Fellowship Hall the third Saturday at 9 a.m. September through April. Husbands are welcome too for fellowship time.

Summer softball league.

Each summer Hilltop fields a softball team to participate in the city-wide church co-ed softball league. Games begin in mid May every Monday evening through the end of July.

The season wraps up with a tournament. They may not always have the top score in the game, but they play for the enjoyment and the friendships grown out of teamwork.
